Sport Climbing, one of the most daring and exhilarating essentials of mountaineering, has now grown into a cult sport all over the world. Since rock faces are not easily accessible, due to factors like distances and weather conditions, to most climbers, there has been a long-felt need for an artificial climbing surface that not only simulates natural rock features but also provides a variety of hand and foot holds and route potentials of varying difficulty for improving climbing abilities in easily accessible, safe locations.

A climbing wall is an artificially constructed wall with grips for hands and feet used for climbing. Some are brick or wooden constructions, but on most modern walls, the material most often used is a thick multiplex board with holes drilled into it. In the recently manufactured walls, steel and aluminum have also been used. The wall has places to attach belay ropes, but may also be used to practice lead climbing or bouldering.

Each hole contains a specially formed t-nut to allow modular climbing holds to be screwed on to the wall. With manufactured steel or aluminum walls, an engineered industrial fastener is used to secure climbing holds. The face of the multiplex board climbing surface is covered with textured products, including concrete, paint, or polyurethane loaded with sand. In addition to the textured surface and hand holds, the wall may contain surface structures such as indentions (incuts) and protrusions (bulges), or take the form of an overhang, underhang, or crack.

Some grips are formed to mimic the conditions of outdoor rock, including some that are oversized and can have other grips bolted onto them.

SITE VISIT

UNDERSTANDING THE CLIENT'S REQUIREMENT

DESIGN & COST PROPOSAL

After an initial discussion, we visit the location and site of the climbing wall. This is required to understand various aspects of building a climbing wall, like the foundation, frame, material, size, etc.

Post-site visit, we try to understand the vision of the client and if it can be delivered at the visited site. We also give our expert insights to clients to make sure that they are making a well informed decision.

Design and Cost Proposal We share a design and cost proposal with the client. This proposal has exact details of dimensions, material to be used, cost to the client, and other deliverables, along with an indicative time for complete delivery of the project.

QUOTATION APPROVAL

DELIVERY & TEST RUN

Upon reaching an understanding, we enter into a Memorandum of Understanding or agreement with the client. Deliverables are clearly stated and agreed upon.

We start building the wall from proposed date. We deliver 95% of our projects in committed timeline. Post completion, we do some test runs and train the staff if required. This completes our work as your climbing wall builder.
